Johnny Otis gone on Tuesday, as well. One more voice acting as a balm on life's onslaught gone for good. Though it has little to do with Etta, I'd like to give a shout out to the British for spreading love and respect for so many American soul and r&b artists who remain unknown in their own country. Bless those funky rocks in the North Sea, and many thanks to Johnny and Etta for keeping the juices flowing.
