David Seaton's News LinksClint Eastwood has made a film in Japanese , "Letters from Iwo Jima" and it is a big hit in Japan. It remains to be seen how it will do in the USA. "All I can do is put it on the screen. And if they don't like it, they can walk out and go across the hall to see 'Borat 2' or whatever." Susan Sontag once joked that if we had a minister of culture in the USA it would probably be Clint Eastwood... We could do a whole lot worse. DS
